The Berkshire Environmental Resource Center (BERC) at MCLA was established in 2005 to advance student and faculty research, promote environmental awareness and preservation throughout the 社区, and serve as a 资源中心 for students, faculty, and 社区 members.
The goals of the BERC are to strengthen the educational experience in environmental areas and sustainability, both for MCLA学生，而对于 社区 that benefits from BERC programming. Further, the BERC strives to serve as a model for educational outreach.
