BACHELOR OF ARTS IN INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES: HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES

This sequence of courses supports 卫生与公共服务部 or anyone interested in a non-licensure education pathway.

The Bachelor of 艺术s in 跨学科研究:  With a focus on Health and Human Services is a degree completion program specifically designed for 学生 seeking 非传统途径.  This program provides 学生 with a broad based interdisciplinary education focusing on individuals who seek a career in a wide variety of professional settings in healthcare, human services, social services, and related fields. 学生 graduating with a degree in 跨学科研究 will demonstrate advanced skills in critical thinking, re搜索, writing, and oral presentation.  毕业生将会 able to apply interdisciplinary methods, approaches, and insights to the analysis of a given theme or issue, and to the development of creative solutions to complex 问题.

The 跨学科研究: With a focus on 卫生与公共服务部 program is designed for those with work experience and an Associate’s Degree (45 – 75 transfer 学分). The program is a cohort model for 学生 managing work and family 要求.  In completing this degree, 学生 will be prepared to advance their careers in a wide range of occupations and industries.

• Cohort-style learning model provides peer support for 学生 managing work and family 要求.
• Complete one course at a time in consecutive 7-week cycles.
• Classes meet once per week from 5:00-9:00 pm, and will be offered in Pittsfield.
• Benefit from affordable public school tuition, and the option to apply for financial 援助.
• Learn from highly skilled faculty from a range of disciplines who regularly work with 学生.

• Financial 援助 counseling is available on the MCLA website at your.satumerenkennel.net/financial援助.
• All 学生 taking 9 or more credits will need to verify proof of health insurance.
